Nourishing Acai Smoothie Bowl
Acai is not necessarily something I include in my daily smoothie but I LOVE having a acai smoothie bowl on occasion because it is packed with antioxidants which support both our long-term and short-term health.
It can be hard sometimes to include these nutrient dense foods into our daily diet which is why I love smoothies. They are the perfect way to sneak in some added nutrients without slaving in the kitchen.
Enjoy my go-to Acai Smoothie Bowl
- 1 pack of frozen acai (usually comes in a single serving)
- ¾ cup coconut milk
- 1/2 avocado
- 1 cup ice
- 4-6 small dates
- ½ banana
- 1 heaping tbsp nut butter
- Optional: protein powder
- Optional: Granola to top
- Blend all the ingredients together until well mixed
- If you are having issues getting it to blend, you can always add more water or milk
