Homemade Coconut Yogurt

Finding a healthy dairy-free yogurt without added sugars and preservatives is quite challenging so I wanted to share my Homemade Coconut Yogurt. Sometimes making your own is the easier and healthier option. Try out this super simple two-ingredient coconut yogurt that you can make at home.

The best part is that you can also flavour this recipe however you want. I like to add vanilla, fresh berries and some sort or nut seed or granola but you can also add honey or maple syrup for extra sweetness or whatever other fruit and nut combo you want.

Plus since this is a fermented recipe with probiotics its a great snack to support gut health.

  • Cheesecloth or thin cloth
  • Sterilized mason jar
  • Wooden or ceramic spoon

  • 1 can coconut milk
  • 2 probiotic capsules

  • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup berries of choice
  • 1 tbsp extras hemp seeds, walnuts, chia seeds

  1. Add the thick part of the canned coconut milk to your sterilized glass mason jar. You can add some of the water if you like your yogurt more thin
  2. Open two probiotic capsules and pour into the mason jar
  3. Stir with a wooden or ceramic spoon
  4. Cover the jar with a cheesecloth or thin towel
  5. Place in a safe space for 24-48 hours
  6. Store in the fridge when ready
  7. Serve with desired toppings
