Cabbage Roll Bowls

Cabbage Roll Bowls are perfect if you don't know how or too lazy to make actual cabbage rolls? Try out this simple yet nutritious cabbage roll bowl!

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 1/2 can tomato sauce
  • 1 can diced tomatoes drained
  • 1 cabbage chopped
  • 1 tsp garlic powder or 2-3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 smaller onion diced
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 1/2 cup vegetable or beef broth
  • 2 lbs meat of choice (beef or pork) You can also do what I did in the YouTube tutorial and used based sausage 

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Add oil and onion to a large pot and cook until onion becomes translucent

Meat

  • If you are cooking our meat on the stove top then add in beef or pork to the pan and stir until cooked
  • If you are using baked sausage like I did in the YouTube tutorial then you can skip this step 

Remainder of Steps

  • Next add in the rest of the ingredients except the rice 

Once the cabbage is cooked it is ready 

  • If there is too much liquid feel free to drain some other wise serve with rice
